Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year! The Ripley Union Lewis Huntington Local School District has a tradition of excellence and pride. This was most recently noted at RULH Middle School when they received the Momentum Award from the Ohio State Board of Education in the spring of 2016 for students' outstanding value-added results. Congratulations to the students and staff at the Middle School for this outstanding accomplishment!
A big thank you to our maintenance and custodial team for getting the buildings in top-notch condition for the beginning of school, as well as the technology department for making sure all the computers and networks are ready to go. Thanks also go to our teachers who work hard to have their classrooms ready for the first day of school!
The Board of Education continually strives to find new options that allow us to remain both fiscally responsible and responsive to the community, while at the same time providing quality academic and extra-curricular programs for our students. The HB 264 Project is one example of making improvements while saving money.
Our goal is to prepare students for college and career in the 21st Century. Although there are many obstacles to achieving this goal, we continue to forge ahead. We look forward to working with the community as we work to reach these goals. Your input is encouraged and appreciated. Please contact me with any questions, suggestions, and concerns at the email below, or contact me at the district office by calling (937) 392-4396 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
It's great to be a Blue Jay!
