Welcome to RULH school nurse page! I will put important information on this page for parents/guardians to reference with any questions they may have. Although, if you do not find what you need you can always reach me at the elementary or high school. I cover both buildings but you can call either and they can find me and direct your call. If your child needs to take medication at school and it is prescribed by a doctor, it will need to be brought in by a parent and all paperwork must be filled out prior to dispensing at school. Over the counter medication may be stored at school but also has paperwork that needs to be filled out. If you have questions please notify me at school and we can work out getting your child the care they need at school.
Illness will always come up and will surge at different times of the year. If your child is ill please keep them home until they are fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medication. If you have any questions regarding this please give me a call.
Please do not hesitate to call me or reach out with any questions or concerns. Open lines of communication is the key to keeping everyone up to date.
Medication Forms: Students who need to take medication at school will need to have a form signed by a parent/guardian. Prescription medication has to have a form signed by a physician. If you need a medication sheet I can email, fax, or send home with a student whenever needed. They can also be picked up in the front office of both buildings.
