RULH Local Schools has an opening for a full time bus driver.  The position is full time with benefits.  For more information, please call the RULH Central Office at (937) 392-4396 and ask for Bill Frazier (Transportation Supervisor).

Kindergarten registration will be held on Wednesday, February 20 from 4:00-7:00 at RULH Elementary in the library. If your child will be five years of age by September 30, 2019, he/she is eligible to enter kindergarten. In order to register, the following documentation is needed: child's birth certificate, immunization record, custody paperwork (if applicable), proof of residence (copy of a utility bill, etc), Social Security number of child, and copy of parent/guardian photo identification. Students who register will receive a free t-shirt. If you have any further questions, you can call the RULH Elementary office at 392-1141.
 
Through a Youth Service America (YSA) grant received by Shelby Schelling, agriculture education teacher and FFA advisor, the RULH High School FFA chapter recently put together care packages and donated them to the Adams County Homeless Shelter in West Union, Ohio. A total of eight care packages were delivered that included blankets, pillows, towels, wash cloths, and personal hygiene products. Some surplus items were also given to the shelter.
 
Congratulations to Mr. Russ Curtis, RULH Technology Coordinator, for being selected as the ITIP (Instructional Technology Integration Partnership) Ohio Outstanding Technology-Using Administrator of the Year! Ms. Mary Sonner, the technology teacher at RULH Elementary School, nominated Mr. Curtis and collaborated with fourth grade teachers Jennifer Germann, Jennifer Scott, and Cristy Spradling, to complete a narrative of Mr. Curtis' accomplishments. Mr. Jamie Wilkins, RULH Superintendent, wrote a letter of recommendation extolling the virtues of Mr. Curtis. Mr. Curtis will receive this prestigious award during the Ohio Educational Technology Conference held in Columbus in February.
 
Semiannual Report of Harassment, Intimidation, or Bullying

In accordance with Ohio law, district administration must semiannually report to the Board of Education and post to its website the number of documented reports of bullying, hazing, harassment, and intimidation. During the first semester of the 2018-2019 school year, the superintendent has indicated RULH Schools had nine documented incidents.

 
RULH Local School District has been awarded a National School Lunch Program (NSLP) Equipment Assistance Grant for $22,305.00. RULH will utilize these funds to purchase a new oven for the high school kitchen. Congratulations to Mrs. Michele Rau, RULH Food Service Director (pictured below), who completed the grant application!
 
2019 RYBSA Sign-Ups
All boys and girls ages 4 to 14 interested in playing baseball or softball in the 2019 season can register for the Ripley Youth Baseball and Softball Association online at rybsaoh.org !
