The Ohio Department of Education has honored the Ripley Union Lewis Huntington Local School District and the RULH Middle School with its 2019 Momentum Award. RULH Local School District is one of only 48 school districts in Ohio to earn the award in 2019 out of 610 total school districts statewide. RULH Middle School was among the 165 schools receiving this award out of over 3,500 public schools in the state of Ohio. RULH Local School District and RULH Middle School were the only school district and individual school to earn the award in Adams, Brown, and Highland counties.
The awards recognize schools for exceeding expectations in student academic growth for the year. Schools must earn straight A’s on all Value-Added measures on the report card. To read more about this honor,
