Third graders have been busy doing a variety of holiday
themed activities. Students read about two types of Christmas trees (real and
artificial) and wrote persuasive essays about which type of tree is best. Some
students also wrote about “If I were a reindeer…” and made a reindeer from
their own picture to go along with their writing piece. Students also created
illustrations to go with the famous poem “Twas the Night Before Christmas.” Third
graders made beautiful ornaments and created holiday artwork to decorate their hall.
All students made stocking bags, and each student was asked to bring in small
treats to fill the bags of their classmates. It has been a happy and exciting
time in third grade hall!
