Construction of Earthquake Resistant Homes
Students recently constructed earthquake resistant structures in Mr. Birchfield's 8th grade science class as part of their unit on plate tectonics. The goal of the assignment was for students to engineer a structure that could withstand a simulated earthquake scenario.
